AF955® (UNS N09955) – A Ni-base alloy for the most demanding applications.
Alloy AF955® (UNS N09955) is qualified by NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-3 and API 6ACRA for oil and gas applications. This alloy provides minimum yield strength as high as 140 ksi together with excellent ductility and toughness. Alloy AF955® can cover many applications of alloy 718 and other super alloys, especially where corrosion resistance in severe environments and hydrogen embrittlement resistance are a concern. Other very promising applications of this material are for power generation and chemical processes.
